Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026 · Please read these terms carefully before using Strawberry Dice.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By opening, browsing or using Strawberry Dice (the "Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must stop using the Service immediately.
These terms apply to every visitor, regardless of whether you roll a single die or a hundred, and regardless of the language you have selected on the site. Selecting a different language changes the interface text only; the legally binding version of these terms is the English one.
You confirm that you have the legal capacity to accept these terms in the country you are accessing the Service from, and that no local law prohibits you from using an online dice roller.
2. What the Service is
Strawberry Dice is a free, browser-based colour dice roller. Six colour faces — red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple — are drawn using your browser's cryptographic random number generator, with rejection sampling so that each face has an exactly equal one-in-six probability.
The Service also offers an 8-character roll code, a local roll history of your recent throws, a running plus/minus counter, an anti-ban blur mode, optional sound effects and a set of informational articles.
The Service is offered for entertainment, teaching, streaming and recreational purposes. It is not a certified random number generator for regulated gaming, scientific research, cryptographic key material, lottery draws or any other application where a formally audited source of randomness is required.
3. No gambling, no wagering, no money
Strawberry Dice does not accept deposits, does not hold balances, does not pay out prizes and is not a gambling operator. The plus/minus counter is a manual scratchpad for keeping track of your own game; it has no monetary meaning and is stored only in your browser.
If you choose to use the Service alongside a private game, a stream, a tabletop session or a wager between friends, you do so entirely at your own risk and are solely responsible for complying with the gambling and gaming laws that apply to you.
We accept no responsibility for any loss, dispute, ban, suspension or penalty arising from the use of our results in any wagering context.
4. Fairness, rigging and roll codes
We take fairness seriously. The Service never re-rolls, never nudges an outcome towards a colour, never favours a streak, and never stores or transmits a seed that could be replayed to predict future outcomes. Every value is produced at the instant the dice land.
Each completed roll receives a randomly generated 8-character code shown under the dice. Entering that code on the verify page brings up the exact colours that landed together with the roll history stored alongside it on that device.
Roll codes are stored in your own browser. Clearing site data, using private browsing, or opening the site on another device or browser will make older codes unavailable. A code that cannot be found is not evidence of tampering.
- Do not present altered screenshots as Strawberry Dice results.
- Do not use browser extensions, overlays, proxies or scripts to repaint, replay or fabricate outcomes.
- Do not claim that the Service guarantees, certifies or insures the fairness of any third-party game.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and considerately. In particular you agree not to:
- Attack, overload, scrape aggressively or attempt to disrupt the Service or its hosting infrastructure.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the Service in order to influence outcomes.
- Use the Service to defraud, deceive or manipulate another person.
- Reproduce the Service, its branding or its content as your own product.
- Bypass, remove or hide any notice, credit or legal page.
6. Anti-Ban Mode
Anti-Ban Mode applies a visual blur to colour faces and to the Strawberry Dice wordmark so the screen is less recognisable when captured, streamed or thumbnailed. Hovering a die reveals its colour to you.
Anti-Ban Mode is a cosmetic display filter only. It does not encrypt anything, it does not hide your activity from any platform, and it does not guarantee that you will avoid moderation, suspension or a ban on any third-party service. You remain fully responsible for following the rules of any platform you stream or play on.
7. Sound effects and accessibility
Sound effects are generated in your browser and can be muted at any time with the sound button; your choice is remembered locally. If your system requests reduced motion, animations are minimised automatically.
8. Intellectual property
The Strawberry Dice name, logo, layout, written articles, styling and code are owned by us and protected by copyright and related rights. You may link to any page freely and may quote short extracts with attribution.
You may not copy the site wholesale, resell it, present it as your own, or use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership without written permission.
9. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an as-available basis. We may modify, suspend, redesign or discontinue any feature — including roll codes, history storage, the counter or any language — at any time without notice or liability.
We may amend these terms. The version published on this page is always the current one, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the amended terms.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every possible attack, or free of browser-specific defects, and we do not warrant that stored roll history will persist indefinitely.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, account standing or reputation, arising out of or connected with your use of the Service.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use the Service (which is zero) or ten euros.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, demand, cost or expense — including reasonable legal fees — brought by a third party and arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Children
The Service is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal data, so it can be used by children. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising how children use online tools, especially alongside games involving wagers of any kind.
14. Third-party links
Any link to an external website is offered for convenience. We do not control, endorse or take responsibility for third-party content, policies or practices, and you visit them at your own risk.
15. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time; simply close the page and, if you wish, clear your browser storage to remove your roll history, counter, language and sound preferences.
We may restrict access where we reasonably believe the Service is being abused, attacked or used unlawfully.
16. Governing law and severability
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without affecting any mandatory consumer protection you enjoy in your country of residence.
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
17. Entire agreement and contact
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any earlier understanding.
Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact details published on the About page.
